Today is the day that we present the Long List of Nominees for the 2021 Victory & Reseda Vehicle of The Year Award!

This year's Long List continues to be representative of the work V&R is doing to present these vehicles to you. Some of which are considered stalwarts in the marketplace. Other vehicles represent the latest, the greatest, and the freshest ideas for their intended consumer.

Just like every #VOTY before it, the idea of "vehicle" is not one to put into a row of silos. Even in the face of supply chain shortages and inventory challenges, we continue to recognize the continued realities of the marketplace.

You will find some vehicles that represent everybody – trucks, SUVs, minivans, sedans and coupes.

To review the #VOTY2021 process so far, please read our introductory post.

Obviously, the largest block of nominees include 30 SUVs and crossovers. This amount for over half of the nominees on this list.

As far as brands go, Toyota has eight nominees, followed by Hyundai with five, Ford and Nissan with four nods. Among OEMs, Toyota Motor Corporation and Hyundai Motor Group have 11 nominees each. It is worth noting that this year marks the first nomination from Jaguar Land Rover in a #VOTY competition.

On November 12, this list will dwindle down to five finalists. You will get to vote on the finalists for #VOTY2021 on November 14. On that day, you will be your turn to cast your vote to choose which one will take home the coveted award!
