#VnRChat – The Agenda for a Special January Chat Edition

Welcome to 2013…and we are going to kick this off right!

Because V&R will begin its coverage of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next weekend, the first V&R Chat of 2013 will take place on January 6 at 8:00PM Eastern Time (7:00PM Central) on Twitter. Please use the hashtag #VnRChat to follow and participate on Twitter. It is suggested to use a website or program – such as TweetChat – to get the full effect of the chat itself.

There will be two chats this month – the second being January 20.

For this first chat of 2013, the agenda is as follows:

IN THE GARAGE: We will be wrapping up the last few vehicles of 2012 – the 2013 GMC Terrain Denali, the 2013 Ford Escape and the 2013 Infiniti JX35. Plus, we will be talking about the first vehicle of the New Year – the 2013 Volkswagen CC.

And, Randy is taking requests for possible vehicle subjects for upcoming reviews.

RENTAL CARS AND CAR SHARING PROGRAMS: Prompted by the recent acquisition by Avis Budget of Zipcar, the focus will be on how these two forms of car hiring can coexist in today’s vehicular environment. We will discuss past experiences and maybe parse out a future of these two temporary vehicle services.

2013 NORTH AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW PREVIEW: This year, V&R will be on the spot for the most important auto show in North America in Detroit. We will discuss the debuts that will take place throughout at Cobo Center – or, what you anticipate seeing at NAIAS in a week or so.
