Video: Honda Pilot TrailSport

The mid-size SUV segment continues to gain momentum. They offer seating for seven to eight people in a size that is manageable to go anywhere.

Also on the rise are SUVs that start as family haulers to become ruggedized rides that would like to follow an off-roader onto the dusty trail. Some manufacturers do a better job of adding capabilities that can enable their SUVs to do so. Honda is one of those manufacturers.

That combination is called the Pilot TrailSport – a new trim level for this latest generation of Honda's three-row SUV.

In this video and George and I took the Pilot TrailSport both on the road – and off of it. How did it do? Watch the video below to see how we fared.
