Video: 2022 Kia Carnival
The subject was easy: The 2022 Kia Carnival. The newest MPV looked like a great subject too shoot, with its bold new looks and Kia's marketing push to not call it a minivan. We showed that there was definitely some design and functional alignment with its larger SUV models.
This was done with some help from my friends.
To explain the idea for this video was pitched by a friend/reader/supporter George Torline. He explained that he had video production experience and wanted to help me and V&R out with some video content.

What transpired was more help from my friends. A fellow Volkswagen enthusiast John Seery helped out on the primary day of the shoot. We also had the Carnival at Joey Nova's in Tonka Bay, Minnesota, where a group my friends, including the pizza restaurant's principal (and another V&R reader/supporter) Gary Ezell, climbed into the Carnival to drive its seating capacity.
