The coveted Victory & Reseda Vehicle of the Year Award, #VOTY. An award that has predated V&R's formation and has developed its standing within the field of automotive industry awards.
V&R runs a December-to-November editorial calendar every year. It was designed to accommodate the #VOTY process. Since 2020 made things more interesting, the #VOTY was moved up to make room for more pressing issues in this country.
The pandemic changed our routines, our timelines, and our work lives. Our homes became more than sanctuaries. Our awareness of our health has increased. Our politics became more stratified.

You’re probably glad you do not have to mail your vote in. Or, stand in line to vote early at your election office or city hall. Or, are probably nervous and anxious to get your vote over with.

Just like every #VOTY before it, the idea of "vehicle" is not one to put into a row of silos. In our automotive world, we continue to recognize the continued realities of the marketplace, where the SUV is king and queen of the showroom floor. Trucks also played a huge role in this year's #VOTY2020 Long List, as they continue to drive sales volumes in this industry.
