Whenever you send a Ford vehicle with the name “Raptor” on it, you’d bet I’d be dancing like Snoopy in a “Peanuts” comic strip.

But, all attention was focused on creating a Trophy Truck to end all arguments. One that would win the fight for dominance on the desert floor.

As in most elections, it came down to the votes. It wasn’t even close. It points to one of the key reasons why this compact unibody pickup truck won.

As I realize today that I am indeed approaching sixty years old, remembering every moment of that year seems a bit difficult these days.
