Our Favorite Vehicles of 2025
George and I discussed, debated, and finally agreed to ten vehicles that made this year a productive one.
Another year is almost over.
A year that threw everything at us. You name it, we dealt with it.
A look at at this year is not complete without our annual list of our favorite vehicles we worked with in the past 12 months. George and I discussed, debated, and finally agreed to ten vehicles that made this year a productive one. That after a long period of consideration, contemplation, and so forth.
Without further ado, this is our list…

2025 BMW M5 TOURING: This is for the consumer who doesn’t want to sacrifice the practicality of a wagon but wanted the thrill of a 717-horsepower M Performance powerplant. In ither words, because you have a family doesn’t mean you have to drive something boring.

2025 LEXUS RX 500h F SPORT: For 13 years, the RX has played a major role in the story of this website/YouTube channel. In fact, the short we did on this specific vehicle is now the most viewed piece of content we ever produced. But, why this RX? Aside from the algorithms and search statistics, the combination of a turbocharged hybrid driveline, the F Sport add-ons, and the comfort found in an RX made this one truly special.

2025 LINCOLN CORSAIR: Lincoln has put together a vehicle that is very comfortable and drives well without the bulk of it being a large vehicle. Having this level of refinement for a mid-sized vehicle and at its price point I think is an achievement. After all, it is a Lincoln upholding the brand’s legacy for this generation.

2025 LUCID AIR: Start-up companies try their best to deliver their promise of excellence through engineering. Yet, there is a snag in the system. A few quirks aside, the Air is a wonderful large EV sedan. This year, we drove the Pure and Touring versions. This is not an argument to which one would be better at the price they’re asking for. It is that you will be surprised how well executed this EV truly is.

2025 MINI COOPER 2-DOOR HARDTOP: If you are looking for go-cart handling, look no further than the MINI! Set it's drive mode to "Go Cart" and run some autocross runs with it and you will quickly understand how much fun this car is! The John Cooper Works version delivers on excitement that takes the MINI to another level.

2025 RANGE ROVER SPORT: You can see how it combines luxury with capability. Throw in a dash of performance and electrons, and you have a desirable two-row SUV that makes you feel good. It retains JLR’s relevance even though the “J” is temporarily absent from the corporate acronym, while “LR” has been split into three “brands.” However, you should expect a top shelf experience when you drive one.

2025 SUBARU FORESTER HYBRID: Why do people love their Foresters? It is extremely practical. They are equipped with standard all-wheel drive. Plus, it yields a high degree of ownership loyalty. Add the new hybrid driveline to the mix and you have exactly what people have been looking for – better performance and fuel economy in a Forester. What more can you ask for?

2025 TOYOTA 4RUNNER: We waited a long time a new generation model. We came away extremely satisfied with how they integrated this off-road legend onto the newest Toyota platform. We applaud them for stepping away from the V6 to an all turbocharged four-cylinder engine lineup – including the i-FORCE MAX hybrid. From long stretches of highway to a muddy off-road course, this was indeed a vehicle worth putting in the work for.

2025/2026 TOYOTA CAMRY: From the dry heat of July in the Phoenix area to the snowy late fall in Minnesota, our two Camrys showed how much this volume selling sedan has evolved over the generations. This time around, they got it right. Toyota sharpened up the design, upped the interior quality, doubled down on their standard hybrid driveline and improved the driving signature to something that is thoroughly enjoying over every mile.

2025 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GTI/GOLF R: Both George and Randy agree that this duo of sport compact heroes is more than worthy of their #VOTY2025 victory. In its eighth-and-a-half iteration, it serves as a reminder that these are the original sports compacts. Cars that can be daily driven, highly useful, and smile-inducing. There should be no argument against these two Golf models.
